Not having it would be a huge miss!
I feel like any game this fast would have issues as well with how quick vehicle interactions can happen. I think it's possible with an acceptable level of delay, but yeah, it would need more money for such a stretch goal.
Idiots asking for mod support, all kinds of crazy editors, Switch ports, Linux support, 30 player online, like this is actually being made by Nintendo. Not once do any of you consider the Herculean work load for any of it. God, no wonder most AAA devs avoid gamers.
Shut up. Christ...
im not a programmer but i hope they have a very successful kickstarter and can hire one
In fact players being able to redo all tracks from F-zero would basically give us all games in the series on PC.
also small update on that - the game state doesn't appear to be deterministic (I asked about how replays are handled) - building online on top of that would result in an awful experience - making good online would require rewriting the whole thing to be deterministic
not a nice prospect when several years of work have finally brought you to a point where only content creation on a solid foundation is left to do
ok soo lets hope this game is super good and Aero GPX 2 can be built with online multiplayer in mind
F-zero isn't an online game yet it's still great to play.
