They appear as "mostly negative" to me, at 32% approval. But then again, if you were to actually read the reviews you'd see the game doesn't even work, because the keys Steam gives are not valid, and that the multiplayer won't work because Gamespy died.

i bought it and the client dumps out before the game loads, I can get to the menu but afterwards it dies

Don't know what causes the difference. I'm running win7 on an old dual core. Actually, without multiplayer, it's a very short game, fun but short, about 99 cents worth.

Disregard that guy being rude. I'd avoid it since the game is multiplayer focused and that is no longer supported.
