I saw the reviews were "mixed", and I was hoping for an honest opinion from people who are still around on the forums for the game...

They appear as "mostly negative" to me, at 32% approval. But then again, if you were to actually read the reviews you'd see the game doesn't even work, because the keys Steam gives are not valid, and that the multiplayer won't work because Gamespy died.

No, you could just so much as have glanced at the numerous "DON'T BUY THIS GAME" threads in this forum before making a thread of your own. It's just basic forum etiquette.

Yeah Nantes it sounds to me like you're really angry about something that doesn't actually affect your life in any meaningful way. Maybe you should have some tea or something instead of yelling at people who just want a little assistance.

Yes, it is worth 99 cents. It currently installs and runs and does what the Store page says.

i bought it and the client dumps out before the game loads, I can get to the menu but afterwards it dies

Don't know what causes the difference. I'm running win7 on an old dual core. Actually, without multiplayer, it's a very short game, fun but short, about 99 cents worth.

Disregard that guy being rude. I'd avoid it since the game is multiplayer focused and that is no longer supported.
