Game is okay.
Endgame is just farming same map over and over again.
Fun if you like this type of combat system.
Much rng involved (enhancement, tuning, etc)
Nothing much to say unless you go try it out first.
all new story content and characters are always free. mostly just costumes that cost real cash but you can buy those for free with in game currency from other players on the black market. there are also a lot of events that offer free and very unique pets and costumes. if you get your Seth character to lvl 67 by September 23rd you can get 500 EMP free which is about $5 dollars worth of EMP. this leveling event for free EMP happens every time we get a new character.
i started out with soma and kinda enjoy story
and how the each character react to some side quest :d
1 - The story is amazing, you don't get a good story in many MMO's.
2 - Closers has really good missions until you reach endgame. The endgame content is plain bad, not because the content is not fun, but because it's grindy af. Newcomers often stop at Purification Ops which is already at your max level, because everything becomes so grindy and rng based and there's no way to speed up things, the only way is leveling up other characters and transfering items between them (and I assure you, if you do that you will speed even more time as farming for one character already takes 1-2 hours). Besides that, if you're not in a crew (guild in Closers) you will have a really bad time finding matches, because almost no one uses matchmaking, usually people invite in the global chat or in crews. You will probably spe
3 - Now's a good time to start playing because a new character just got released, so people will have to level her up, but you need to hurry otherwise you will be left behind. It's a good thing because you will probably meet friends or join crews in the endgame, it's good to have company in a 2 month farming routine.
Why I stopped playing Closers? Don't get me wrong, I love Closers and I wish more people would play it to keep things alive, but I got bored after completing Contamination Hell which was the latest endgame content before Hunter's Night, stopped playing when Bai released. The reason was I loved playing as Levia so much but I couldn't, because Closers has daily entry limits in endgame missions and it wasn't that entertaining repeating the same mission over and over again, the 3 months that CM Hell took from me was enough, it was very boring (and the fact that I didn't enjoy other characters as much as Levia contributed to my exit).
