"Is this game gay?" For the curious:
This is the gayest fighting game ever there's a lesbian who summons her actual wife and embraces her in the victory screen. there is a bisexual demon dude who makes horny comments at the whole cast. theres a hyper flamboyant wrestler transfem, protective knight lesbian, murder lesbian, and im pretty sure theres like 12 others i haven't seen.

As the Gacha, the game is about gran collecting the most amount of girls possible, the only ♥♥♥ is probably festiva

tbh. if it is well written and implemented it isn't a problem.
The fact that none of the characters (apart from Belial) talk about their sexuality all the time is something you wouldn't find in western media.
In the west this ♥♥♥♥ would be shoved in your face constantly and you the viewer/player/etc. would be antagonist at any given moment.
Here it's there.
No one cares that Fastiva is a dude.
No one cares that Cag is an ancient old Alchemist dude.
No one cares that Yuel is married to Societte.
No one cares that Zeta likes women.
Everyone cares about Vira tho, because she's crazy.

The big difference is how it isn't constantly shoved into your face and you're antagonised for it.
Because it's something that was made in Universe, even before all this whole Twitter/Woke/SJW craze started.

No one cares because the gacha was never officially released in the west. No one else makes a big deal outta things that don't actually matter. Over here sexuality is all a certain group of people seem to care about, ignoring the characters themselves. Which is, as usual really stupid and short sighted but at this point that's all I expect.

Just like you mentioned with Vira, no ones going around spouting lesbian nonsense, people 99% of the time are talking about her being a crazy yandere or her great character building over the years. And with cag it's constant uncle jokes, even in-game in the story. Japan seriously does not care.

Ladiva is just kinda there compared to everyone else and super unpopular because well, really boring character. The only one that is consistently meme'd about their sexuality is Belial, and for good reason.

THIS. I just wish every Twitch chat didn't turn into a gigantic nightmare every time Festiva/Ladiva appeared on screen since they're...not exactly trans? Japanese LGBTQ stuff doesn't translate well. Considering they call themselves both a "lady" and a "man of love", non-binary would be CLOSER but not entirely accurate.

It's made worse because people don't know the lore and the game launched with ONLY Ladiva for the female Draph representation leading many to think they're a race where it's hard to tell the males and females apart when the reality is the exact screaming opposite. It doesn't help that you're not allowed to explain Ladiva in Twitch chats or you'll get banned, leading to only more confusion.

Also doesn't help that this localization has always been rancid ass. Cripes they change characters entire personalities in this. Can we get a fan re-translation mod? Just redo the subs to match what they're actually saying.

Also I am amused how little people bring up Cagliostro.

I've read the original post before but this is simply false.
The cast is very diverse ranging from all sorts of tropes, but they are by no means "gay".

Yuel and Societte are not married. In fact, Societte's love interest is Gran if you've played the original gacha game. Yuel is even implied to have a bit of interest in Gran. The 2 of them are just really close to each other.

Fastiva/Ladiva is a dood that self identifies as female and that is literally it. She's kinda just there and there is zero indication of her sexual orientation. She just preaches love to literally everyone.

Belial just talks in sexual innuendos towards EVERYONE, and that is simply how he talks. There is again no indicator of his sexual orientation. If anything, during Nier's interaction with him, it is implied that he doesn't even care.

Vira has an obsession towards Katalina and it's probably the closest to lesbian that you'd get in this cast. However, even then it's surface level and the obsession can easily be seen as a little sister wanting to protect her elder sister kinda affection as that's how Vira sees Katalina, even if they're not related by blood. In Japanese, that is how Vira calls Katalina too: elder sister.

Zeta x Beatrix is another case akin to Yuel x Societte. The two of them are just close friends. Again, Beatrix is shown to have affection towards Gran in the original gacha; while Zeta sorta just sees Gran akin to a little brother.

and the list goes on.

Here's the thing, there is a lot of intentional ambiguity in the original too so that users are free to explore fanfic anyway they want, but that is just that: fan fiction. Canonically speaking, this is hardly "gay" at all.

you could honestly just chalk this all up to bog standard anime character arcs. ambiguous and vague, with a high focus on beauty. Granblue has also been around for a long as heck time now so it's hardly breaking new grounds here.

Why is this even a question? So long as it's not pandering to woke then it's all good. You yelling about only makes you look like an idiot.

They are.
You might also know them as left extremists.
They are often very loud and very abnoxious, usually populate online spaces and try to dictate what you're allowed to think and not think.
If you met them outside in the wild, they are usually very aggresive if you use things they cannot deal with, like facts and logic.
Try it should you ever met one, altho from your respons you're probably one yourself, it's hilarious.
