Then again, Im biased, since I love granblue characters and design, and have been a long ass time mobile game player.
Better questions is "are you enjoying it more than those others?" My answer would be: yes
Also Tekken has a different consumerbase.
people that play 3D fighters and people that play 2.5D fighters aren't necessarily the same group of people, though there is some overlap.
Strive is more rushdown than neutral heavy, the only thing I feel could be a decent comparison was street fighter 6 as it and granblue are also neutral heavy.
SF6 has a superior launch though.

You have very footsies-based gameplay, with spacing being very important.
throws are just as good as they are in other fighting games but people can actually mash out of throws in this game so they won't dominate the game.
you can't combo after throws either as far as I can tell.
The skill system is a unique twist to what would otherwise just be streetfighter but more anime, and the dodging system is a more usable version of dodging from older KOF titles.
The previous title had universal overheads from pressing M+H but now those are part of the autocombo path and can't lead to additional damage just a way to make your opponent want to stand sometimes so you can actually mix them up.
M+H is a universal guard break mechanic on block, a follow up to combos for big damage, and a "get off me" option when blocking, all tied to the same limited resource, you basically get to do any of these options 2-3 times.
I do not think this game is going to be the newest hit success but they've changed it enough from the original that it's fun to play and worth checking out if you ever wanted to play something like streetfighter without getting destroyed immediately.
If you're losing, just mash light attack, you will eventually get your opponent off of you unless they've labbed to beat mashing.
