ALWAYS "Downloading missing data".

I downloaded the 'Full Client' for the expressed purpose of not having to deal with stuttering and loading times while playing. And yet, everything I look at isn't there until it's been downloaded. I go into Agartha, the game skips and sputters because it's downloading and rendering all the different clothing items people are wearing. I look at my clothing, and I have to wait for it to load before I can preview it. I play regular missions, I have to wait several seconds for a close-up of something I need to "examine" to pop up. It's ridiculous. And it's only gotten worse since us Steam players were forced to redownload two whole sets of content.

So what was the 5GB I downloaded through Steam and the add'l ~8GB I downloaded through the client, if not everything I'm having to download while I'm just walking around? What is the "Full Client" if it's not actually the full client?

Full Client should mean Every Single Bit of Game Data.. and a Un-Screwed Patcher,,

but this is NOT the case for our Full Client. i am very unsure what it means to be honest..

and i hate when you hit play.. you get to your character screen and it takes about 7 - 10 seconds to load scenary and characters

I mean, I can understand having to download outfit data, like "X character is wearing Y piece on Z body part", but that shouldn't drag everything down the way it has been. It's like the game doesn't keep clothes and their textures in memory unless they've been on screen in the past fifteen minutes.

there is something else you can do as a temp fix..
Background download.. put it to lower than 1 - 2MB or Kb..

it will still do it but it won't take as much bandwitdh

The negative reviews of the game are more than deserved, even after all these years Failcom incompetency has not dulled in the slightest. Simple things like the Op's issue and my more serious issue of not even being able to authenticate with their flaky character server AT ALL anymore, really really highlights the stupidity of a company thats been in the business for many many years
