All my charges were made from behind into units already engaged with my troops it wasnt a stupid frontal charge
They're definitely not the chariots from Rome 1
Sadly it seems not to be =(
They can chase people don't great but honestly I prefer a unit which can fight well not chase routers down well
Elephants are all about charge with trample but work best when you charge through units and not directly select them. You can relly mess up whole armies if you micromanage them and keep them charging around while your infantry mops up the guys who have been knocked down. Pikes and javelins seem to be really bad news for them although the patches seem to have their strengths and weaknesses bouncing arounda bit, I've also had trouble with medium infantry just destroying my elephants lately but am able to rout multiple units of spearmen with one charge.
Iceni seem more for confusion and taunting the enemy to attack.
Well you must have a bugged/ only working version cos MY chariots charge slingers and kill 10 people with their charge MY chariots slowly walk into melee units even when I tell them to attack from behind, kill nobody then die in second. and that was them fresh charging downhill...
This is pretty much what my chariots do...
