Where are the Celts or Barbarians who wields Two Handed Weapons?
I remembered in Rome 1 that there was a Faction who had a unit who wields two handed swords. Can we expect a DLC about this?

They still exist in game, Thracian warriors still wield falxes, if I recall correctly.
they do. its looks like an inverted scythe. I hope we can see those old celtic two hand sword wielders. hehe
yes there is an opinion that they did not do much work on designs for celtic combat options and that opinion comes from me < >>>>>>>>>>if any one else agrees say so speak up
Definitely agree... played as Iceni and suebi to about turn 150 and the units are very samey, theres some cool units like beserkers but spear people for example are jus very linear seeming upgrades with just stats and nothing cool about it, same for sword people.

Would be nice to have some more cool unique units
That will maybe become a DLC... you have to pay for.
Historically speaking, swords large enough to warrant two hands didn't exist in this time, and wouldn't until the 15th century. Until that time, the iron/steel people produced was generally too brittle for such weapons, meaning that they would tend to snap. There are some 'two handed' swords from earlier, particularly in Asia, but they largely seem to be decorative.
they are the hero from breavehart proud and strong

well, that explains a lot. I mean the iron smithing technology. :)
open up your wallets the UNIT DLC is coming...or you could just wait for mod unit packs shogun 2 had em and they were better then anything CA put out.
The unit diversity is appalling most units are identical.

Indeed, most of the diversity for barbarians at least seems to be the same unit but with slightly different stats. For example barbarians have spear levy, spear band and chosen spears... they do the exact same thing pretty much but 1 is a bit better than the other.

I know its hard to make variety and stay realistic but its so boring fighting with the same units behaving in the same way no matter what you play.

thats why it would be nice to have a fantasy TW made as it would mean HUGE unit variety

Variety is good but Fantastic Weapons would be bad. I think. A band of sacred gay men from greece (HISTORICALLY ACCURATE gay soldiers) would fight some men from celtic tribes with huge warhammers or huge scythe-like axes would be wierd and maybe epic but wierd.
and..... why doesnt iceni have archers?....
I really miss all the faction special weapons
1. Axes/Great Axes Armour priecing
2. Easterrn factions axes/maces the model actually show them weilding them but same pen. rate as a normal sword unit.
3. Spain factions Metalwork and pen swords and sword/longshield cav
4. Falx and the two handed polearm version can't remeber the name
5. Female units

What about 2 handed axes? Surely barbarians had some of those?
