How many turns do you get?

no limit, unlike past TW games rome 2 doesnt require you to conquer x amount of cities by y turn. my current game im at 54AD.

Actually you only have around 300 turns to achieve victory but can continue to play you just wont get the achievements as far as im to believe. Within this time period you of course get scripted events which again only happens to a certain time frame 300 turns and then suddenly stops.

But you can use mods to lengthen the time such as 2 turns per year etc which doesnt affect achievements and allows far more time with characters, economy development and also actually taking your time to create and empire.

Personally i have always thought the total war games even with shogun 2 (damn realm divide) was far to short to allow the player to focus on economic matters rather than wars or even plan and execute an over seas invasion.

didnt see anything, unless it mentioned it in the events list, which i often ignore except for the construction page or to find out which general died and where.

Nope but I think events have been bugged for a while. However, I doubt they would go near a hot topic like that.
