Try Windowed mode

My game runs considerbly better in windowed mode. Might help some of you guys.

How do you actually start it in windowed mode? I cant see the options because the entire screen is black , but I heard wndowed mode fixes that.

Start the game, go into a campaign and change it too windowed from the campaign map.

afaik it actually should work worse in windowed mode...always heard this for the games

Start the game, go into a campaign and change it too windowed from the campaign map.

Windowed mode does make the end turn more comfortable, if you are getting to mid/late game it can take too long if you ask me and windowed mode helps!

I did this day 1 and it has worked alot better. I had some texture issues but switched to windowed worked alot better. I also always do multiple things while playing.

Not yet seen a pre launch option, You could try frantically clicking till you hit the right button lol.

Yea that's was my general thought as well. But then again nothing is normal for this game atm.

It should work worse, I lose a few FPS in windowed but thats prob cause I have it windowed so I can use 2nd screen for netflix or whatever.
Also the game can run in fullscreen windowed is very handy, just google the little tool for it

I go from 40fps fullscreen on veryhigh too 60+fps on windowed. Maybe because im Using a 40inch tv rather than a monitor atm but that shouldn't cause the problem.

Guys i am having a problem here. Every time i try to use window mode my game doesn't answer.... it turns black but still i can hear the sound. Please help me! what shall i do?

i put my reolution down and went in to windowed mode, grand camp works much better but casesar always crasghes whatever i do , campaighn map turns to sea then black screen . grrr CA you will burn long and hard for this travesty.
