Help with symbols and makers please
I think the swirls around armies/navies means they have been forced marched; can anyone confirm please?

I'm confused about the red floating skull. Anyone? It seems to be there for lots of things, but I'm unsure.

The floating hammer over towns? All I know is it's not a 'building in progress' thing.

The crossed axes over parts of towns; military building maybe?

Any other floating mystery I forget to mention that you know of?

Also, it's not in the title, but if anyone found a half decent politics (on the faction window) tutorial I'd be grateful. I'm still confused and annoyed when I look at the faction window.

Also the household of one, and the pool of crap loads! Anyone got their head round the pool characters yet?

By the swirls, do you mean the yellow-y colour? That's the edge of the unit's movement range.

The skulls represent attrition.

The hammer means you can expand the town/city.

Not sure what the military thing is. Not seen that yet. Although, I probably have, just cannot remember.

For the factions, when trading, look at what you produce and what other factions want. If you make olives, and they make olives, they won't trade. If you make olives, and they want olives, they will trade. Or, are more likely to. Sometimes you gotta pay to get the higher options. But the diplomacy is pretty crappy in this game.

Swirls are really forced march.

Crossed axes: a battle took place there. You can see it on the second page of the tooltip

The others are as it was said by the previous posters.
