Help!! no mouse scroll on campaign suddenly????

didn't realize there was mouse scroll. I always WASD and/or the middle mouse button to drag.

keys not working either. kinda odd. been playing two campaigns for hundreds of turns to suddenly both methods dont work.

The camera still seems to get disabled from time to time; you can edit it to On again in the save game.

Start the EditSF.exe, select File->Open, select your save game, in the tree open CAMPAIGN_SAVE_GAME, then COMPRESSED_DATA, then CAMPAIGN_ENV, then CAMPAIGN_CAMERA_MANAGER. Below that is the CAMPAIGN_CAMERA.

Path may have changed, that was for Shogun 2.

I had the same problem, using the Editor like the link says, has solved the problem.Just follow the procedure, you dont need to make any changes from paths etc...

I followed these steps, and it did not. Help when into the save editor and changed the System.UInt32 value from 1 to 0. Did nothing. Still can't move the camera with the mouse scroll or WASD.

It's a very simple fix for this problem. Go to an earlier save game. This is why I make annual saves, so if I screw up, or get a corrupt game file, I can go back as far as I want.

It is going to require a patch, I am afraid. Seems like a memory leak issue. Tough to track down. I had to go back to an earlier load. Something for the developers to look at because it is not going away on its own!

Necroing this thread to let everyone know that while rare (350 hours in and I've only just now encountered this) the issue remains in Emperor Edition.

If you lock yourself in on ironman mode just get used to double clicking and playing with extra restriction.
