Here's how you can download patch 1.5

Right click Rome 2 in the Steam library and go to "properties".
Then select the "BETAS" tab and select " Patch1.5".
Steam wil begin downloading Patch 1.5 for Rome 2.
It can take a few minutes though, my download hang at 20.7MB for a few minutes.

All future patches can be downloaded this way.

yeah i played some, hardly any desync, but the AI turn time takes a while though

Shame, this game was to be SO GOOD but its like a babies game

+1 but....the patch didn't help out with my campaign man at all like it was supposed to. They said in forums that's all this quick fix was doing and mine is still stuttering just as bad as before it not worse (I doubt it's worse). But then again I suppose I wasn't getting 60+ fps on battles so my system isn't high end enough (gtx 760 with amd phemon 955 at 3.8 and 8gb ram).

Did it help for anyone else?

It increased my fps by 5.
But it's still not stable.
