Can't attack Settlement?
I'm playing as Rome, heading to Iberia through carthage and north africa. I'm at Tingis(controlled by rebels), its being blockaded by the faction to the south and i cannot attack by land or sea but agents can still sabotage...
anyone else got a similar issue?
I'm going to move south and destroy that faction then see if i can claim Tingis.

Just bring your fleet over to whack the blockaders, then siege the city. Maybe you can sue for peace right after. If not, you're one step early into your next war.

It's a silly mechanic though. Hopefully it will be fixed.

First to siege the target gets to attack it. It is not silly.

The AI will happily blockade a port for a 100 years and never actually attack it. It's a broken feature.

How about when its been under siege for 10+ turns?

Indeed, theres a port in my game which has literally been blocked for about 50 turns now, the people who own it even have 3 fleets next to the blockading force that are ALL bigger but he refuses to do anything

I conquered the people to the south, on thier flight they took Tingis from the rebels and then i followed them and took it. problem solved.
