Wipe Them Out… All of Them! achievement

So, has anyone got this? I can't run down every single individual soldier before the whole army breaks in droves and run for the boundries in battles of over a thousand men. any tips?

countless amounts of reserve cav should do it, but i also havnt done this yet.

Not even the cavalry will do it unfortunately because the cavalry will just circle dance the fleeing enemies...

I think the cav running down routers is a bit broken ATM, I had two full cav units chasing one grp of 24 routing jav men and they managed to whittle them down to 2 men but still they were chasing them the whole way to the map border from my towns edge.

The only way i can see it being possible at the moment is to have alot of skirmisher cav, or chariots, and pray you dont run out of ammo

I got.
The easiest way is the ship battles, go fight a large fleet with an even larger fleet, make sure no one escape, they'll be declared dead.

I have this achievement also :-) but in combination with "Gore Drenched" ;-)

I just have 2 to 4 cav units (incl. the General) & let them "hunt down" units after their morale have been broken or shattered ;-)

I got the achievement a month after I got the game.

I just ran down my foes with my cav and light infantry and encircled elite units to finish them off
in my campaigns

I did it with armored mounted archers and reloaded to replay three times over and it would not unlock

I was able to get this achievement while playing has Rome. I had control of Syracuse and Carthage sent like 3 navies at me. Little did they know I had some ballistas aiming towards the water. I was able to sink almost all of their ships. They were able to land some men but my legionnaires took care of them and that is how I got it.
