d3dcompiler_42.dll error

I'am getting d3dcompiler_42.dll error after I start launch the game. I have updated my graphics card, directx and it didnt help. I also tried to copy the file it self that didnt help either.


Can you please help me with this issue?

install direct x again. use the setup file of DX in the steam install dir of rome 2.
....Steam\SteamApps\common\Total War Rome II\redist\directx

If when you click play on the launcher and nothing happens, and you navigate to your rome2.exe and the message In the subject line appears what you need to do is:
1.Delete both of the d3dcompiler_42.dll files in
C:\Windows\System32
and
C:\Windows\SysWOW64
2. Run the DXSETUP in the rome redist folder "
