Can i play it? Microsoft surface pro

my currently only avilable pc is i Microsoft suface pro "pad", i did some basic checking and for me it seemed as tough the speccs would hold up to play this game (rome 2), but hen i try to open the game nothing happens... any help is much appreciated.

To point out: when i say nothing i really mean nothing, no black screen, i just see that i go ingame on rome on the friends list on steam, and then right out again a few seconds later.

With 4gb of ram and an integrated graphics card? I would find it highly unlikely. I'm surprised it didnt self destruct out of fear when you tried to install it.

Agreed, with an integrated graphics card you are likely to run into problems. If the display didn't even sync up with the game, then that must be the cause. And even if it did run you'd experience unbearable framerates I would think.

This is coming from someone who have no idea about he is talking about.Intel HD Graphics 4000 is the most powerful integrated GPU that can run lot of new games with reduced graphic options or resolution (it can even run Skyrim).So yes you will be able to run the game (by they way Geeves every pc even toasters can install any game but question is can they run it),but i doubt you will be able to play it,because its so poorly optimized for dedicated GPU's yet alone integrated one's so i suggest you to wait until they adress this problem and then see if you can play it (but knowing CA i hightly doubt it ).

Quoted game is over two years old, and not particularly demanding.

i tried intalling when th game wa released and had no luck either, please let me know if it works after th update, ty!

Is the OS 64 bit or 32 bit? I don't know why they didn't dedidcate 8 gigs of RAM to the thing.

I just updated to 8.1 and everything seems to be working now on the Pro.

You can play it. But only as a slide show with 0.1 FPS.
