Camera vertical rotation

Zoom Camera ("x" and "z") - seem to be exactly the same as Rotate Camera ("c" and "v"). Makes it impossilbe to get a decent overhead view of the battle. Or is there something I'm missing in the options here?

Me too. Doesn anyone know how to pan the camera vertically? its really pain looking at the default vertical camera. both the Z X and C V does the same thing in camera control.

Wow. Have no idea how I missed these comments. WKDman I'll try it next time I fire up the game. Rome 2 was an awesome game and, either I just got over the camera limitations or did what you suggested. Maybe I just worked around it, I mean this was like 6 months ago. That's like an eternity in PC Gaming years.

Keyboard hope you figured it out as well. I played thru as one of the Roman factions and even on medium difficulty it was a bit to easy. I figured I'd just give CA a year or so and revisit it, most likely during a Steam sale :)
