2. Open the folder "The Creative Assembly".
3. Open the folder "Rome2".
4. Open the folder "scripts".
5. Open the text document "preferences.script"
6. The numbers in line 3 and 4 are the resolution; replace them by the resolution you want to run Rome with.
7. Save the document and run Rome.
Worked for me, although I'm unfortunately getting blackscreens in the menu independent from these changes. So don't worry that you make it worse.
If the window is displayed at the wrong position as well, have a look at the lines 5 and 6 in the same text document, i guess you need to change the numbers to "0" and "0" then.
