How many Cores/Threads will Rome II support?

I'm a lazy person who doesn't want to search through blogs, dev posts and whatnot, so please.. if you know it, share your knowledge. If you have a source I'd be even more happy.
Did they even ever talked about it?
I'd love to see atleast 4 cores on max load if it's going to be bottlenecking.. 6 would be alot better and I'd buy this game 3 times including all DLCs if they support 8 core CPUs. Just imagine how many units you could deploy with 8 cores on 4.9 GHz.

rather pointless, the game will run maxed out with huge battles on a decent quad core, so why bother.

the GPU is much more likely to be a bottleneck in epicly huge battles anyway.

If you mean huge in terms of +4 full stacked armies with the max unit size, no. That'll be completly CPU limited. Atleast for me, 7970 OCed in CFX.
I'd also appreciate faster round turns.
