How to produce trading goods

Hey guys i am playing as carthrage and i just wanted to know how to produce trading goods such as olive oil and wine

I believe you simply make the buildings.

Certain regions will have the trade resources and the settelment that is nearist can upgrade their townhall to improve the amount of trade goods collected, along with increased garrions size, research rate, sometimes some food or a negative food effect, and money.

Certain cities produce certain resources. You have to conquer those cities/provinces in order to get them. Once you have them you produce them automatically, upgrade the city and you get more of that resource.

If you hit tab on the campaign map, you can see the resources for regions that you have discovered. As they said, certain regions have different resources. It's motivation to expand and with trade partners, I've gained 1,000-2,000 income just for aquiring a new resource.
