Mod Load order

Is there any way of determining load order (which mod wins a conflicts) with the default game laucher?
Does the order you install the mods, (subsribe) make any difference to which mod wins a conflict?

Don't quote me on this but I believe mods are still loaded in alphabetical order, so you could probably rename the pack files with a prefix eg: a_pinklegionaries.pack, b_purpleromanhelmets.pack etc. to specify load order if you needed to.

One thing it occurs I should point out if you're playing with load order, is that in most cases the last mod will be the one whose change takes precedence on a particular item (lots of it is basically db INSERT and UPDATE).

I'm trying to use a 4 turns per year mod in conjunction with the Troy Redone mod. And I thought that maybe if I loaded the troy mod first then it would work. This was the first thing I tried, renaming. It doesn't work because the game automatically renames it back to its original name once you start the launcher.

Hi stoned Phoenix have you tried renaming the mods and then un-subsribing from them (They will no be deleted). The launcher should leave them as they are after that.

The best tool for Mods in my personal experience is the Mod manager provided on the Total War Center forums for RomeII.
