Pretty sure you can't.

If anyone finds a way, that'd be lovely.
Impossible. I don't know of mods giving such a feature either.

Frankly, it does not matter in this game (unless you are using head to head, in which case it would be easily abused).

I see, I was simply thinking of Rome, where distance from capital had an impact on wealth and happiness

It would be nice if you could.

No they did not, I was referring to how things worked in the original Rome

he is talking about rome 1, where the overview showed a modifier for distance to the capital. in rome 2 distance to capital plays a small part (provinces further away have slightly higher rates off corruption). in rome 2 you can not change the capital, so you have to take this into account while expanding. the most impotant factor in corruption (the only thing distance from capital affects) is public order (ranging from -100 too +100) has the bigest effect on public order. so long as it's positive and growing, corruption (and therefor distance to capital) is not an issiue.

Really? Distance from Capital affects Corruption - in Rome2?

the effect is small, but present.

Is it listed on a mouseover anywhere? is there an easy way to discern this effect - or do you have to calculate it from comparing provinces at progressively greater distances? So that, all other known factors for corruption being equal - the only other differnce between a lesser corrupted province and a greater - is the distance from capital? or some such?
I've never noticed - but have never taken the time to look. Don't see it in my saved games - but I've never played as Rome - yet.

you would have to check the economic overview off a perticular province. so you would have to check each province seperatly. rome 2 offers either a basic or extremely large scale (empire wide) overviews. personally i would have appreciated a little more.
i did check all the provinces in end games (because i may or may not rearange the provinces based on my end game needs). and it showed slight increases farther from the capital. i never played as rome either, but i have completed 8 campaigns (and got pretty far with others).
