I dunno exactly, i think it's just a case money, some publishers may think it isn't worth to pay the money for dubbing in contrast to the sold copies in this specific languages, the dutch or the danish have exactly the same problem.

In case of Poland, well, it seems Britts and Yanks haven't realized yet that Poland is a country with 38 million inhabitants and growing wealth and economy.... ^^

I don't think there are any Brits who are unaware of Poland. On a positive note, I have yet to meet a Pole who didn't speak English better than the average Briton speaks Polish, so here's hoping the lack of dubbing isn't an insurmountable problem. :)

Yeah we muricans are horrible at geography and any basic world knowledge. i wouldnt be surprised if 80% of Americans couldnt point out Poland on a map...or the UK for that matter. i had to explain to my co-worker why people speak Spanish in Mexico. ugh. beam me up scotty......

Excuse me :--)

Poland was once Superpower mediaval superpower but nevertheless superpower, as for UK, Great britain loss that status not so far ago, and they still have great influance in Europe.

As for you country
Do not forget that America could lose its The War of Independence if not a very clever and resourceful Polish General Tadeusz Kosciuszko. George Washington was the first president of the United States but He was not only the father of American independence :-)

in ROME ll RUS version there is half-russian and half-english localization. the text and the advisor speech is in russian, the soldiers speech is in english. you have the same thing but with polish?

Maybe the actual Empire Total War is the better forum for this?

I very liked Empire Total War because Polish soliders speak in Polish, Russian Soliders speak in Russian French in French etc.

What i did not like from Empire Total War onward that lack of General motivation spech like it was in Orginal Rome Total War and Medieval II Total War.

well to be honest if a game is dubbed in dutch i find it horrible and prefer english or that the factions have native languages. for example like in empire TW or RO2

yeah i know. i was expanding on a previous comment about brits and yanks. since i have never been to the UK i cant speak for brits but i can relate my experiences of being a murican.
and since the US is esentially a product of English business philosophy and culture it would explain our common found self-centeredness.

The community you speak of must be isolated from the majority of the US. I live in the US and people in my community have displayed much more intelligence than that.

the US is a big place. your community hardly represents the majority of the United States. not to mention americans are notorious for being bad at geography. google search some polls and see for yourself.

I could say the same about your statistics - they hardly represent a grand majority either.

Googled polls are less accurite than fox news to me...

It would be biased for either of us, really, to make overreaching assumptions.

an average of polls taken and studies conducted over decades of research about education in the US does paint a bleak picture about american's knowledge of geography, and worldy knowledge for that matter. its not really a bad thing. im not trying to insult my fellow muricans. just saying its something we are notorious for. ive lived all over the midwest and west. i would say that attitudes do change depending on where you live. in utah nobody gives a rat's ass where sweden is, let alone new hampshire. on the west coast though, people definitelly tend to be more aware of worldy matters.
anyway not trying to send the thread into another direction, so i will retire.
