No comment on the quality, I do not use mods. There are other mods for the same thing as well.
You know, the search function is there for a reason.
The game was built to have an army cap of 20 units, and people mod that....
Thanks for the link. I did search the workshop for a mod and I kept getting mods that changed the army size limit. 20 unit to 40 unit mods and such. Guess I was searching the wrong keywords.

The game is not built for many mods, yet they still do the job.
Also, your point is why removing the cap works - the limit is your economy, which is why I don't understand why they had to cap it in the first place.
TBH i prefer this way but it does screw over the AI.
Why would you wanna spam little armies anyway? its stupid.
Not sure how it is any less stupid than spamming full blobs of preatorians.
SO you would prefer the ai to spam loads of tiny armies and be even less of a challenge? I would love to face a full teched up roman army but the ai is dumb and spams low tech units even late game....
The main reason is because right now each battle feels the exact same. The AI ends up with a full stack or two of cheap spearmen plus some ranged units. It's not good at releasing obsolete troops, so they stay like that the entire game unit you wipe the army. And seeing that most factions are one or two provinces, there's often no chance for more interesting armies to crop up. Each battle ends up feeling more like a chore than a challenge, imo. Especially since most battles only ever involve full stack armies.
I'm hoping that with a raised limit, the AI will think to disperse its troops amoung smaller armies, which will help create space for more advanced unit types as well as make full stack battles feel more epic and rare. And therefore, make battles more interesting.
I would prefer CA fix the frigging thing. There is no case to saying no to something because previous systems were buggy... then again, with CA's record, I fear they may very well fail in making it work...
The nomad tribes have the best army stacks in the game, heavy lancers with heavy horse archers but they suck at siege and Parthia foot archer spam destroys them.
I really wanna fight elite stacks of Romans but it just never happens :( most of the time the big factions get wiped out by the little ones.
They need to focus on making the ai better! Allowing it to cheat seems the only thing to fix this and then that ruins the diplomacy side like shogun 2 as they dont need to trade and just all declare war are you if you explore the map and reveal new factions. In shogun 2 i had 1 faction sale from the very end of Japan to the other to attack me when i did nothing wrong to him just because i revealed his faction. If you dont explore on shogun 2 only the factions you can see will fight you its a very dumb ai.
Ai is hard to code, sometimes i think having fixed enemies would work better but then it would make the game more repetitive.
I just cant have fun with rome 2 any more because its far too easy...
