Voice actors cant pronounce things right?

Ok i have a few, you can add to the list if you find any :P in Rome 1 it was all fine but now its different?

1. Macedonia, they say "Mackedon" Its pronounced Massedonia :\

2. Hoplites, i dunno how you pronounce this i though it was hop lights ect but i like both, Rome 1 used "hop lights" btw.

Mixed rules. And they are not consistent. But, this is OK with me.
Mackedonia and Hope Litays favours Greek pronunciation a tad.

Macedonia these days is pronounced as MaSaDon in English. But in (Classical) Greek it is pronounced as ''Makedonía'' (in the Greek Alphabet Μακεδονία). This is because of the Greek letter ''Kappa'' (the K) which in English (and Dutch etc.) became a C and not a K. The proper greek pronounciation would be Makedon when singular and Makedonia when plural.

Hoplites (ὁπλίτης ) is pronounced Hop-li-TES, in classical Greek the ''stress'' is always on the last emphasis (except when the accents say otherwise).

Yea OP, it really depends on what you think of as 'right.'

Ancient languages like Greek and Latin (in my still rudimentary knowledge) pronounce it how they do in game. e.g. Cicero is not Sis-er-o but Kik-er-o.

Having said that, the way you want it to be pronounced is correct from an anglicised point of view.
