Persian Empire is too friendly!

I heard that the persians should attack Greece in Wrath of Sparta when your empire is big enough. And i heard that they would spawn in many fleets and armys becuase their empire contnues behind the map border. ...
I just finished my WoS campaign.Nothing of that happened. Sometimes, I even had good relations to Persia because i REKT Athens! After i won the campaign( ! ) i had to declear war to THEM!(my allies too) In a few tourns (less than 10 i think) i made a Blitzkrieg (had guarding armys at the borders of persia,north and south) and won the war very fast. They even offered me peace and becoming a client state! I saw nothing from spawned in armys. The only non-defensive thing persia did, was placing 2 transport fleets(without guarding ships) near 2 isolated coast settlements of me.(i killed them in auto battle with emergency mercenary armys). After that, i conquered whole persian empire( except kolossai because the evil korinthians were faster.)

Now my question: Did this also happen to you? and why didnt persia attack?

meabe tries the AI to be historical accuratte (in real life the persians offerd money and ship to spartans just so the spartans could of defead the athenians (they thouth that hellas (greece) would be weaker)

I just got to the same point in my campaign on VH and they are just kinda pandering around doing nothing. I am at war with most of the map though and the persian hate me.

There is a mod called True Persian Horde, after 65 turns or so, Persia begins to make its mark on greece and conquest!

they didnt even attack the factions they were at war with. With money, i managed them to declare war on byzantium, inonian and rhodos.... i still had to conquer rhodos by myslef, and make byzantium and ionian my clients. Maybe the game is inteded to break the alliance with the poloponesians and conquer them too, and when i have a big part of greece persia would attack and spawn armies. But the winning conditions are too low for this. I even won before i conquered last athenian city!(i didnt conqur athens, my client ally had it and after that, the "nice korinthians" who were faster at kollosai too! (you can see it on a screenshot i just uploaded)
