Too many Great Fires
I'm playing the Gallaeci Grand Campaign using the All Factions Playable 4TPY mod(very good mod btw) using the Beta 12 patch(although campaign started using V11) and have been doing well, having most of Iberia conquered and some of North Africa.
However, every dozen turns there is a Great Fire at Tarraco...just Tarraco, damaging every single tile.
The fire seems to occur regardless of how much cash I have; just had one now, even though I am down to 72 dinari.
Previously I have noticed that if my cash reaches $4-5 thousand then a disater is certain.
Disasters do not seem random; they appear to be a mechanism in the design to handicap the player.
It's as if the programmer is looking over one's shoulder and when you are going well, he says:
"Nope...doing too well...here, cop this!"
*BOOM*
Plague, Great Fire, Flood and a dose of Herpes for good measure.
It's very annoying.
Disasters should be strictly random, imo, not determined by a programmer with a God complex.

Well, one pyromaniac citizen at Tarraco would explain it.
Thanks for the advice...I'll try.

Had a rash of Great Fires earlier on in present campaign - but now that you mention it - not one disaster in maybe a 100 turns.
