tower and scorpion ships

they have the same stats and cost in skirmish so whats the diff between a tower penteres and a scorpion penteres?

yes i did, they have the same stats, same onboard units, i wouldnt ask on the forums if i could see a difference or could find an answer some where else

its not hard common sence comes into play here a rock hitting your boat or a pot full of snakes which is more morally damaging and that is the difference

that would make sense if a scorpion fired snakes or such, its a giant arrow. now i have matched them against each other and i can tell the scorpion does fire at long(ish) range however it doesnt really change the outcome

again, i wouldnt ask if i could see a difference

out of interest for other people with this question
it seems that the towers shoot as well so i would assume that they are better then a scorpion at short range
this explains why i could find no difference between them with the extra fire power equeling out once the ships closed so it comes down to preference

You can't assign a target to the Tower, either. But!
The great thing about the Tower - it never runs out of ammo!
And ( unless it's raining not verified) it shoots Fire Missile.
