Mod and install manager tutorial?
I have used mods once with this game and ended up forced to reinstall the game. Now when CA is advertising the use of mods im really surpised with the lack of REAL time quallity video tutorials how to correctly use them. The information is in ridiculously short supply!

The tutorial would be about 10 seconds. It is a very simple system (and it is very limited as a result, hence why I use another mod manager)

Subscribe to mod in steam workshop, launch game, click mod manager, check the mods you want active, launch game. THat's pretty much how it goes.
Thanks, but what about the manager you can find on Total War forum?

Which one do you mean? Could you provide a link, so I know what manager you are referring to?

That mod manager is the one I use and it is not made by CA. It's made by .Mitch. on the forums there, as noted in the credits.

Anyway, what exactly is it hat doesn't work well? Maybe I can help you
Thanks, i downloaded the file saved extracted and opened, but im affraid the installation process didnt take place. What exactly i should do with it to get it working? How to open and use it and how does it look when its working? I know thats too many questions but i tried to find some visual real time quality tutorial online but with little success.

No need to install. It's a .exe file. Just extract it and open it. I think it will ask for the directory of rome 2 total war, not sure though. Anyway, it will show a screen as shown in that thread you linked. Check mods to activate them, select a mod then use the arrows in the window to move them up or down in the load order (mods higher up will overwrite mods below them if they conflict)

Press save when you are done (you can save different profiles but this is rarely necessary) and then press launch. Thi s will bring you to the Rome 2 launcher window. Then select either continue campaign or play as you usually would
In which folder to extract the file?

Doesn't matter. I have mine on the desktop
I open it and it looks like the one from the thread indeed. So how does it work? It does not have any link with the game itself..I have not subscribed for any mods yet tough (as im waiting for the 27/03 update)
