The lowest I have seen it was $29.99, 50% off during the Steam winter sale.

The game is worth $29.99 imo because it has a lot of replay value and will kill a lot of time for you. I expect a full price game to last me 60 hours and Rome II has lasted me around 210 hours.

Yes, wait for $29.99 that way you can also get some DLC us pre-order people got for free, for example the Greeks states pack if that interests you.

Part of the fun of the game is having and enjoying the decent graphics, so if you have a weak computer I am not sure if you should get it. The game doesn't have a huge amount of strategy elements to warrant a purchase if you don't have a decent PC to enjoy the graphics.

I didn't regret buying this game at full price, 300+ hours spent playing. I even managed to get the free nomadic dlc. Lowest I seen the game drop to was 50% off but I understand that you want it to be cheaper, since there are dlcs that are worth buying too.

Me too, love the game since launch even with the few flaws I experienced, did not get as bad as most people were claiming but that's probably because i don't have a wooden PC lol.

I don't regret buying at launch, do regret playing at launch. Bought it for 40 and got greek states and nomads for free. That said, game was severely bugged and clearly inferior at launch.

By the time the game got really fun I had already finished my rome campaign. Didn't even get to use kaziel's skins :( Need to play another rome campaign sometime

LOL ! .. Although my, 'PC', is definately not 'Wooden', it is 'Gas-Powered !!! However, I am also really enjoying the game, despite its 'Glitchy-Bits'.

Mate rome 2 is region locked so dont go purchasing from those illegal websites ... why do i say they are illegal purely due to the fact its mostly russian keys sold at extremely low prices. They pay no tax and you are practically tax avoiding as well hence why its so cheap. Thats how the world works sadly all ecomonies are not comparible in wealth so thats the only way.

If somehow it doesnt work you can not complain you stated you purchased from a source that can not possibly be legitimate. Just be warned it might or might not work now but it can be revoked later and you wasted your money you see it all the time. Its only going to get worse in the future since region lock is the only way to fix the price based upon local economy.

nah , the cd key was not region locked, and they actually do refounds

Link to the source would be good we all can spot something a mile off ... I was just stating that as fact mate wasnt having a go i dont want people wasting money. Heck if i could get something cheaper i would but i would rather have something legitimately without any problems hence why i always purchase from retailers or steam directly.

Btws rome 2 is region locked i gave the link, theres no such thing as not being region locked or partially region locked, it either is or isnt. The difference is theres certain regions that are locked (because of what i mentioned earlier especially russian keys), and rest of the world versions.

Incase anyone reads these are the regions that are locked and you need to purchase in those regions to play the game within that region. If you purchase an internation version it wont work in these regions and vice versa.

• China, Taiwan, & Hong Kong
• Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, & Myanmar
• Russia + CIS
• India
• Turkey

Well enjoy the game mate just make sure and check out region lock on games in future dont want people losing out on money. Im not one to judge where you or anyone else buys games but thats not a legit seller either just saying. Thats like the bane of pc gaming tones of people will buy games from such websites but they have thereself to blame if steam crack down on it.

well im not agreed what u said about regionlock working for the prices , in my country (yes im not from the us as it says on my profile , im from colombia) the economy is ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up , and yet steam games are high priced , i have even seen many games region locked only for latin america, and their price is still the same if i get the US or worldwide region lock .

this is actually my second cd key i get from those site , few weeks ago bought BO2 from another site for 23$ since i will never even see the game in the stores of my country , and amazon and steam deals are always 50% off only (this key had included nuketown dlc)

and yes, i always take care of region locked games , i dont even try to buy on steam south america region locked games, cos some times i go to the us , and im planning to live there soon

yes, just check my inventory , and the dl should finish in 1 hour or less.

i think it will , since its rest of the world key locked

oh yea those sites sure are so illegal thats why they have merchant status with paypal for years. paypal loves supporting illegal sites for years right. IF steam could shut them down it wouldve happened by now.

its illegal not to follow steams 'illegal' region pricing?

its illegal to buy keys in bulk and sell them cheap?

ps i preordered the game on a site owned by them. np's and not region locked.
