Lusitani
So I saw the Lusitani mentioned in the Hannibal at the Gates expansion... if that is not made itno a playable faction for both the DLC and the Grand Campaign I think I might up and join the legions of rabid haters hating on everything.

They better not **** this up. Cuz my nerd rage is motherf****in' ferocious.

Calm down As stated they will be implemented in the original campaign. I would be more annoyed about the lack of actual content.

From Hannibal at the Gates description:

In addition to mighty Carthage and Rome, players can fight the 2nd Punic War as three new factions: the Arevaci, the Lusitani and Syracuse, each one featuring its own faction traits, characteristics, unique units and campaign start-position. If Hannibal at the Gates is owned, these factions are also playable in the ROME II Grand Campaign.

Alright. In that case I'm just pissed that it's probably going to be $5 per faction unlock. Glad they are finally having an Iberian faction, though.

Edit: I swear every time I log in they've added another word to the profanity filter... before long we will just select YES, NO, and MAYBE from a drop down list to send messages.

Now all we need is african nomads and a thracian faction to complete the list of faction types

Yeah, Thracians would be nice, they're a sort of cool step inbetween barbarians and greeks.

I don't know why you hope for some good factions, they would be the same and the and the same... like they are in the mainpart. No distinction between them and all a waste of time.
Yeah maybe there are people who like this game, but i can't play it anymore the one and only MASTER-FAIL-BUY of the last year(s).

And please don't write you played it for 127h, that's because i hoped that i may find the pleasure for it again.

Why 3 factions only though? why not at least have the Etruscans as another playable? they are the only other Latin faction in the game, plus they clearly have a big role and are present in Hannibal at the Gates.

The last four total wars had either different colours of the same units or slight reskins so your point of them being the same is kind of moot

Like iceni, arverni or suebi?
Lusitani were really hard enemys and beat roman legions many times, only were defeated when his leader Viriathus was killed treacherously.

I dont know why many ppl dont knows about the roman conquest of hispania, very hard wars for romans, 277 years fighting in Hispania!! (more difficult than Gaul or Britain, with many roman armies defeated)

Waywardz, are you aware of your heritage at all? I'm aware of mine. As such, I love giving a shout out to factions that at one point in history contributed to my bloodline.

uruK, people rarely read history. They tend to just get the highlights.

Love the handsonish learning -
and complement nicely with Forum Threads like this.

I dont get overly excited when at my empires peak i still have huts and wooden walls.
But you are correct, This give me no cause to belittle someones heritage and i apologise.
