Any mod to change unit portraits? And why are reinforcement units so damn slow?

Hey guys, I just got the game yesterday and I love it, contrary to popular opinion. I can see some problems of course, but I'm not picky whatsoever so I'm still very much enjoying it. With that though I do have 2 issues.

1) Is there any way to change unit portraits? They're so damn similar I have a hard time keeping track of half of my men and end up completely countering myself when fights break out. I thought there might be a mod for that but I haven't seen one yet.

2) Why are my own reinforcements so damn slow? I was playing under siege once and the enemy had their main force, and about 2-3 reinforcing armies that were quite a bit away on the map. I wiped out their main force, fortunately, but then had to deal with their first reinforcing force a minute afterwards. This went on until they had half of their final reinforcements left, and not until then did MY reinforcements decide to saunter in. They were literally right next to the city I was defending, and the enemies armies were a fair bit farther. My guess is that this may be for difficulty reasons, as this game is absolute childs play, but I still find it kind of silly and unreasonable.

1 - I'd recommend Bullgod's unit cards. You can find them on twcenter, it's an easy install.

I didn't find any with a quick search (except a shady version of bullgods). Why not just recommend one (and assume they already looked)?

I did quite a bit. I would assume something as important as the unit portraits would've ranked fairly high on the rankings as well, but I stand corrected.

i really hate the unit cards to,soo simelure and also ugly.
but i have trouble finding bullgods cards.

Not everyone puts all of their mods on the workshop, the IP stipulations in the agreement not being appropriate for every mod - Bullgod's unit cards are one thing you have to go to twcenter for, hence the OP searching and not finding.

The hell happened in this thread? x.x Anyway, I found some called "Normal's Rome 2 Unit Cards" that have been working alright, save for a few missing portraits so I might go find Bullgod's. Thanks again guys.

What the hell? What debate? I stop in when they have a sale because I feel strongly about protesting this game, and that is the best time to do it. How many times must one explain that Steam doesn't record your active game hours for R2 accurately, and how it's irrelevant anyway. Most of my hours were either on the pre-load screen or afk; my actual game hours are around 100 or so (and I was either testing for errors/bad mechanics or having a pitiful game experience).

Initially, you specifically said you were a writer, so I constructively added that you need help on your grammar and punctuation; being a song writer makes no difference, because I'd throw away your lyrics if I saw them in a similar unintelligible state (perhaps you mean sheet music?). "Mr. Writter" wasn't meant to insult you (nor am I a comedian), only meant to point out that you can't spell "writer" yet you call yourself a writer, please correct that (you're embarassing yourself and I don't feel well about that).

"Stop comenting on my ♥♥♥♥♥♥ posts" - how ironic, I have ceased commenting on your posts prior to this response, yet you hunt down one of mine in an irrelevant fashion to draw a response. Pretty sure I was spot on about guessing you as a troll.

Please don't respond, this is so off-topic (and not even on the right thread). The OP was just asking how to find a unit portrait mod, and I assume by now, he has.
