Anyone got an idea?

Are you saying you are playing as Sparta in a co-op with a player that is Athens and you can't trade with each other?

Oh, you have to have a port or have one connected to your capitol by land. Sparta can't trade with anyone other than Athens unless they take Athenai. It's basically a flaw with how trade works, sorry. : /

If spart is taken over by rebels, then i take it back, could it work? Or would it just be made the capital again?

I'm pretty sure it makes it your capitol again.

They made Sparta isolated to make their campaign a little harder and more historically authentic, unfortunately it doesn't work well with a Sparta-Athens Co-op campaign.

Dom Starr, Campaign Designer – “Being imprisoned in their own borders is certainly the biggest threat to the Spartan player in my mind. One major weakness is their lack of a trade port in their home region, so maintaining cordial relations with Athens or indeed a decisive strike to take their territory and harbours would be at the front of my mind."

Yep, you need to expand before you can trade.

Well I lost Sparta and Hirapytna became my capital. Still wondering if I take sparta back if it'll be my capital again. Ill lean from mistakes.

Ok so when I took Sparta back it did become my capital again (Not Suprised). I got to keep all my current trade agreements but can't make any more. Solving the situation by allowing rebles to take the city, and my Co-op player to take Sparta for himself.

It's interesting that you got to keep the trade agreements.
Hope you have fun with the rest of your campaign, sorry I couldn't be of more help.

You were enough help, without your words we were going to restart and I was going to be pergamon.

If you make Athens your client state, it should work, maybe even vice-versa, then send money to your co-op partner.
