Custom battle funds glitch (?)
I´m trying to play a city assault battle in custom battles, but I´m "Unable to declare ready as a player has spent too much on their army setup." What´s confusing is that I still have tons of funds left, yet the game tries to tell me otherwise. With no unit cards I have 200k left, even though funds are set to 100k. As soon an army goes over 100k, I can´t press the `ready´button, despite there being about 100k left. I have played siege battles with armies that cost way over 100k before, so there´s obviously something wrong. Anybody else experienced this?

I just did this, and all files were successfully validated. The problem remains, though. Also, I discovered that I can´t even do city assaults with armies costing over 50k..
I need some help badly, guys. This is annoying as ♥♥♥♥
Try deleting and redownloading local files.

Alright I´ll try that.
Also, if that does not work, disable any mods you might have and verify again.

I did this too, but the funds are stuck at 100k..
Im having the same exact problem. It shows me i have 180000 to spend and if i spend about 50k it says that i cant start due to lack of funds and yet at the same time its showing me that i can spend an additional 130000 or so denarii. The really weird part is that this is only affecting city siege battles and nothing else, a land battle for instance will let me spend as much as i want. This is really weird.

Finally someone else with this problem. Same here, the city assault battles are limited to 50k, while land battles are limited to100k. They were both at 200k when I first started playing, so there is obviously a problem with the game.
Yea I have been trying all kinds of things to get it to work properly but to no avail, it seems as though this game is still experiencing game breaking issues. CA really released this game too soon, they promised smart AI, big battles, amazing graphics and so much more just to sell more preorders. At least all the other modes are unaffected but this bug has made custom city siege battles either really small or unplayable. I will definately think twice before I purchase one of their games again. I was an early adopter of this game and I am utterly dissapointment with CA and this sorry excuse of a game. I really love this game so I hope more people will come forward and share any bugs they find and together demand CA to fix them. This game reminds me of Empire: Total War which was also highly anticipated but it too had game breaking issues.
You probably fixed this but it is because another player didn't spend if you are playing on multiplayer. Not you.
Actually i never got this to work since I play single player more, this is about the custom battles which are you vs AI and I still cannot make this work. I did try making both me and the AI spend all available funds but still same problem.
I don't know then, but probably you aren't even going to play rome 2 again since attila is out.

Yea im swithing to that, hopefully its much better and more stable than rome 2 was at release.
