You can buy or subscribe to Parallels to run Windows in a VM (virtual machine) on your Mac, if your CPU/APU and RAM are sufficient. Just test it with the two week trial.

Afaik there is no other option to do what you want to do, aside from
dualbooting into Windows or Linux, but that's only possible if your Mac is one of the older models with an Intel CPU. While you could also try Crossover, I can't recommend it personally, the experince is quite janky, support is worse than Parallels and the setup is more complicated.

I do know u need an OS that supports 32bit applications, and latest mac OS's do not, which means using a virtual machine to run a non intel version of windows 10/11

thanks for all the responses but is there any way to enable 32 bit support without using workarounds?

reinstalled game - all I can manage to get is a white screen with the game's cursor showing - as I move it around the (white ) screen I can hear the audio from the options in the game.

audio works perfect just no visual - and I have a very powerful mac that can run high end music softswares...just not these games haha

Apple Silicon Support:
Apple Silicon support starts with Big Sur 11.1+. Apple Silicon is at the time of writing this in the beginning of support. Apple is improving the Mac OS constantly and will improve support for more and more games in Porting Kit. Besides that, Wine development is on their side making improvements where it can. So not all games will for Apple Silicon at the moment, but as mentioned, through time, more and more will work on Apple silicon.

So no backward compatibilty from Apple Mac...imagine my surprise!.:steamfacepalm:

I think we've come full circle now,PowerPC/Alpha-->AMD/Intel-->ARM based SoC,Apple Mac's problem is longevity/consistency and a lack of common sense, keep re-designing everything...i'm sure it will all work out in the end.:steammocking:

Catering to a fairly expensive segement of the market is a challenge i'm sure, but that doesn't excuse Apple Mac's from providing a framework for x86 compatibilty to their customers, this is just bad practice.

Steve disapproves.

Regards,
