It was available free to keep on Epic from 2pm BST August 13th 2020 to 2pm BST August 14th 2020, because Epic was paying CA/SEGA for every copy "bought" in that period. So that offer has now expired.
It's available to buy on Epic right now as you would any other game on the Epic Store.
It will be available to buy on Steam August 13th 2021, because CA/SEGA and Epic signed a one year exclusive deal (which is probably part of how Epic managed to get Troy in the first place and how they could offer it "free" for one day at launch.)

All the Best,
Welsh Dragon.
It's a hobby.
And glad I could help.
All the Best,
Welsh Dragon.
Adding magical units breaks completely, any chance at historic game immersion (for me) no gorgons wanted.
Yeah, I got it for free, but you don't get the old big speech at start of battle either..
Only mods can save it now.
The amount of 'features' it literally thrusts in your face. I selected "Show new features" .. and every turn I'm bombarded with overlays that stop me clicking everything, forcing me to take a moment to close it and read the pop up over and over again. The best part is the sound of every notification for every single faction pinging off as soon as I hit end turn, every time I hit end turn :(
It feels like the just looked to Rome 2 for unit inspiration and half ass remade the Three Kingdoms engine and tried to copy the interface and new features as well as making it look a bit like Warhammer with the design of and the equipment mechanics..but lazily did the bare minimum without actually coding and fixing everything to work 100%. It honestly feels like an early access game they've just clogged with factions and icons and copy paste units. I'm playing as Sparta and half the enemies I've fought on my side of the map have units that look literally exactly the same as mine. I've seen 240 v 240 militia units that are all wearing the exact same shade of white tunic and it's completely immersion breaking basically fighting these mirror armies without even distinct faction colours.
You know that Hindenburg was a Nazi? Has more responsibility for bringing Hitler to power than anyone else-
wondering how long it is going to take to fix this game?? Like Rome 2 it will probably take a year...
Hi mate :-) It is always & all about the money. Highly likely the 'untapped' Epic Player base (for CA current & future increased player base) could be highly interesting for CA in opening up new TW markets = eventually increase of CA revenue streams ;-)
PS: I used to be a top ranking ICT EU marketeer/developer, so this used to be my bread & butter ;-)
A cross-store ownership type of thing.
