Whether this is actually whats happening, i have no idea. But, I definitely wont be buying any more CA titles for sure until Rome 3. Despite the chat removal, this game still has one of the best MP battle experiences of any total war and the player base is still big enough. CA will have to try harder than that
Free speech does not apply within private domains or chat platforms. You and everyone else must adhere to the rules outlined in the terms and conditions. or be permanently banned at the descretion of a moderator. Getting banned for using inappropriate language towards someone, like calling little Johnny a spotty little **** for example and being banned for it, serves as a perfect example of consequences within a privately controlled environment and is an important clue
spoken like a true soymale
game was made 10 years ago, politics, internet, chat etc has evolved a lot since then. Clearly it was easier to remove it than update it.
So whining on here is going to have less effect than complaining directly to CA to give a replacement they keep talking about but not yet delivering. Make a good case without the attitude will prob go a lot further.

I signed that petition, but at this point I'm mad at the TW community/playerbase for how neutered it has become. The historical TW playerbase are like battered wives at this point.
again, the fact that this isn't already happening just shows that the historical tw fanbase have become like battered wives.
