Artillery won't fire?
I noticed that when I use artillery like Balistas, when the enemy come into range they fire once, but then as soon as they have reloaded they stop firing. And if I order them to fire at a specific unit, they fire on a unit other than the one I set. This is happening to all different types of artility, scorpians, balistas etc

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Thanks.

If your auto fire is on, while the enemy march towards you, some times your units lost LoS to their units, they auto attack other units.

It even happens on a clear, flat grasslands map. And at times there is a lot of time between firing as well, my artilery fires at the enemy when they are far away, then they stop firing just sitting there until the enemy are too clsoe to be fire on.

They fire frequently as I always turn the auto fire off and target them yourself. As for that disappearence I mentioned, you might lose LoS even with tall grass. All that have to happen was 1 micro second disappearance, your target will be lost.

Also don't forget that some artillaries have a minium shoting range. They won't fire units got to that point.

This behavior hasn't been my experience at all whatsoever. I have to wonder if you've got some mod that's messing with artillery behavior or some other problem.

I use Radious Total War mod and Warcry Battle mod. I use other mods but they don't affect battles.
