The verify didint give me any downloads so id assume thats good.
This is ridiculous. Not only is rome crashing but britannia is aswell. If two total war games are crashing im willing to bet warhammer 2 and shogun may aswell.
My gpu drivers are good, any other drivers specifically i should check? I finished downloading britannia and its happened again with no warning. This time about 20 minutes into a land battle. I uninstalled the game from steam and deleted britannia from my creative assembly folder in %appdata%
If there is any other folders i need to delete when reinstalling i can do it again overnight.
Just to say again this happened when i had a 1600x CPU and a 1660TI gpu with 16gb of ram. Now ive completely rebuilt my system and a fresh version of Windows 10. I have a 5700xt GPU and 3600x CPU.
Its really frustrating as i love total war but this is completely ruining it for me right now.
If yes, do you believe there are any memory dumps in your folder that may have been generated after the crashes you have previously described?
In my Total War Rome 2 folder under steam there are actually 4 mdmp files. but none that are just dmp.
This originally was happening on shader model 3. Ive also changed the graphics around alot and still had it happen.
Can you please try switching the shader settings to something else, e.g. 2, 4, 5, and see if it still crashes?
