I have the exact same problem, did you figured out a solution?
If you are using an Intel CPU and wish to play Total War: Rome II & Attila, the only option is to use macOS Mojave or earlier.
solution : buy an old computer with 1 cpu core(+3 GHz) and a max of 4 Gb RAM windows computer.
you´re funny
SEGA should give the games to Feral Interactive to do a port for the 64bit as they did all the other Total Wars OSX port. Rome II and Attila are still selling well
sure but that is counting on Feral and CA to do it, buying a cheap windows pc is something you can do yourself besides CA is lazy and doesn´t care for it´s customers...
Shogun 2 was recently patched/ported to work as a 64bit and it was done by Feral.
Unfortunately Rome II and Attila was a CA port and Feral wasn't involved. Rome II also misses from the 2 latest campaigns and the desert culture pack.
Win10 is great though, I think these days having access to WinOS is a smart thing to do. The intel MacPro/iMac can be bought cheaply these days and are great machine to run Win10
SOLVED :)
Run the game with patch 16!
