Is there a way to get rid of negative traits?

My general gets 6 negative traits because he sits in a settlement trying to boost PO. will these negative traits ever go away>?

Only when your general dies, unfortunately. I used to think perhaps the oldest traits would be replaced eventually by newer ones, but have never seen that to be true.

It depends on which traits you're speaking of. Some are dynamic, based upon experience and accomplishments. Others you are stuck with. Oh wait, are you playing vanilla rome 2?

Traits are part of the game -- there are positive traits as well as negative ones.

The new traits you get do replace the old ones you can have up to six
