Sparta and Caesar editions are special region locked editions that come with a specific DLC, (Wrath of Sparta, Caesar in Gaul respectively). They are identical otherwise as far as I know.
TheOrangeBox Oct 5, 2021 @ 2:31pm
They all have the Rome II Emperor Edition (standard updated game) with a different Campaign Pack DLC and a Culture DLC in addition.
-
Caesar Edition will include Rome II Emperor Edition + The Caesar in Gaul Campaign.
Spartan Edition will include Rome II Emperor Edition + Wrath of Sparta DLC + Greek States DLC + Daughters of Mars DLC.

Yes the Emperor Edition is the Rome II standard game patched plus the Imperator Augustus campaign pack.
The Spartan edition add a dedicated map campaign for Greece and three playable Greek factions for single player and multiplayer.
