Spartan Edition will include Rome II Emperor Edition + Wrath of Sparta DLC + Greek States DLC + Daughters of Mars DLC.

Well good to know they're all updated to Emperor Edition.. and I think I'll go with Spartan Edition
Yes the Emperor Edition is the Rome II standard game patched plus the Imperator Augustus campaign pack.
The Spartan edition add a dedicated map campaign for Greece and three playable Greek factions for single player and multiplayer.

**Rome 2/ Rome 2 Emperor Edition**: The game, all patches and free-DLC (including 6 additional playable factions for Grand Campaign, and the Imperator Augustus Campaign that has 10 playable factions,) no paid-DLC.
**Spartan Edition:** Generally only available as a physical release, and only in some countries. Content same as Emperor Edition, + Wrath of Sparta DLC (additional smaller campaign with 4 playable factions), Greek States DLC (3 playable factions for Grand Campaign) and Daughters of Mars DLC (half a dozen niche units spread across almost as many factions.) All available separately.
