Why are Saba and Nabatae conquering earth
I just started playing again and Saba and Nabatae have conquered most the easten part of the map. Is this because of the Destert Kingdoms DLC, anyone have any mods that balance this.

It tends to be random. In my current playthrough, Massilia wiped out Rome and took over most of Europe.

Every campaign has different winners. In my campaign Saba hasn't moved from its starting position and Nabatea was in a trench war with Seleucids until I put them out of their misery.

The DLC definitely helps them, though. They have better units than they used to, so they will be able to conquer more land than they used to.

I have the same problem in my Macedonia campaign, Nabateans have taken over most of the land in Mesopotamia and Northern Arabia. But I believe it is caused by a powervacuum in the region, since Seleucids are at war with pretty much entire near east, which caused them to lose land to pergamon and galatia, and after I defeated those factions, nabatea came in and took the remaining lands. Now I am moving in to help the Seleucids to defeat the nabateans, and with my agents and nearby allies/armies, I can see the nabateans have only 1-2 large armies, most of their cities are empty.

This was one of the issues that I really did not like with rtw2. when I make it to alexandria I expect eygpt to be there or if playing as Carthage expect rome to be there etc, hell Rome should be always there for the player to fight with, they should be expantionist and aggressive in this.

DEI has fixed this issue for me and have been having epic wars with the dominant powers of the era instead of usurping minors.
