Mods won't work.
So after not playing rome total war 2 for some months I started my game up again for some fun.
After opening my game I realised my mods were not working.
I looked around the internet for a fix but could not find a solution there i already tried the following things:

- Verified my game files.
- Checked out the mods 1 by 1.
- Completely reinstalled the game.
- Deleted all mods and then tested mods 1 by 1.
- Tried an external mod manager.

None of the above "possible" solutions worked and I am at a loss on how to fix it.

So I hope one of you out there can help me sort this out and that I can finally use mods in rome total war 2 again!

Thank you guys in advance

Just to be sure (I am not certain after reading your post):
Have you subscribed to the mods in Steam Workshop and then activated them in the Total War Launcher?

You have the mods in correct locations? Most newer steam mods appear here:

Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\214950

....and older mods appear here:

Steam\steamapps\common\Total War Rome II\data

Can you confirm that your mods are in these locations?

Delete your rome 2 scripts appdata in %appdata% Their could be some oddities that are left over sometimes this can cause conflicts

@pharaoh I just deleted my scripts in my appdata, Yet my mods are still not working. And after deleting the script file I reinstalled the mods again + restarted pc / steam.

Just to note, we usually play together. I have almost the exact same PC and configuration and same mods, all mods work fine for me. We used Team Viewer to compare our setup and check what is different without any result..

Can you try the old launcher verison, basically opt out of the new one and try that to see if mods will work.

Can I also see a screen of your data folder please?

And i'm sorry but how do I use the old launcher version?

Why not try Kaedrin's mod manager instead? I stopped using the official launcher a long time ago.

I tried Kaedrin's mod manager indeed @kekkylu but I experience the same issues. My mods won't load.
