Compatibility with windows 10
Does Rome 2 have some sort of compatibility issue with Windows 10? I recently got a new PC and cannot launch it past the launcher no matter what I try.

When I did a clean Windows 10 install a while back, I had to reinstall the redistributables to get most games to work. Verify should do it, or run them manually from your game files.

No windows issues.

"Can't pass the launcher" sounds like you have been screwing around with mods......Best to stay away from mods when you are unfamiliar with mod compitability. Since some out of date mods can the the cause of issues like you are experiening right now.

Unfortunately some mods still linger in your files even after you deleted them from your launcher-mod-manager (need to be deleted manually) - these can cause issues like you have described.

Best to go where people are actually paid to support you :-)

Good luck & hope you solve your issues soon.

Delete all mods from That new directory that CA decided to puss everyone off with!!: Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\214950.

Thanks for the help, I don't know how it could be mods, I completely wiped the data folder multiple times, unsubbed from the mods in workshop, and cleared my steam download cache. Is it possible that these mods are affecting my vanilla files as well? I already tried posting in the forums btw, no one has ever responded.

It was empty, thanks for helping though considering I never knew CA added that as a mod directory.
