How do I read the crash log? Or .MDMP files?
Playing with mods and crashing sometimes when Kush is doing their turn. Want to read the crashlog to see what's causing it. Someone told me to get Microsoft Visual Studio, but the core won't let me open the mdmp files. What extension do I need?

This is ridiculous I ended up needing a Windows Driver Kit to read the file, but for the windows driver kit I needed a 5gb desktop extension for windows visual studios. Sadly I installed the driver kit first, so now I get an error and have to redo everything from scratch. All of this just to read a file. Haha.

Will keep you updated on my adventure.

So I managed to open the file without the WDK and only the visual studios 5gb desktop extension. But it didn't provide me with that much information. Only an Exception Code: 0xC0000005
"The thread tried to read from or write to a virtual address for which it does not have the appropriate access."

Therefore I will try to run the game with admin rights and see if the crash magically disappears. Lol.

The adventure continues.

Brickwall. If I set the rome2.exe to run as admin the program wont start. If I rightclick rome2 and start as admin, launcher starts and program doesn't run as admin.

My error seems to be with the Kush faction only, and it seems like if I load a save a few turns before, I can bypass the crash. But then it may reappear later in the campaign. Always when it's Kush's turn.

Never had this issue before, and I've been playing with a lot of mods.

I managed to get past it, by loading earlier saves. And at some point the Kush crashes just stopped.
