A guide for natural resources

Is there a guide for where to find all the resources in the game?
For example, I need timber to build the highest level of trade port in Carthage, and I don't know which city or province to take in order to find that timber.

Got something better, a map of all resources (however will not show on area's you haven't explored yet) Just press the tab key.

Not sure if you need timber resource for that, I think you need to research that "skill" in the civil technology section.

Timber's available in one of the small settlements to the west of Carthage. Timidi or something like that.

Timber is required to achive level 4 military port status and can be found at the following locations-

• Iol, Mauretania
  
• Namnatum, Celtica
  
• Rhoughion, Subia

Silk is required to advance your shops and markets to level 4.

The closest place to Rome for silk is Edessa, Mesopotamia.

There are other resources for economic benefit, but no other resource requirements for technological advancement.
