In this game your armies are limited by "Imperium" regardless of how much cash you got on hand or generals that are in your faction... so yeah good job Sega thats like, so totally fair and realistic and immersive...
I kinda do too but like I said I can have like, 2 or 3 generals just waiting around not counting those not from my family/faction in which case I can have like 12, 20'000 gold in my coffers so raising an army and paying for upkeep would be no problem and "Nope, your "Imperium" says you can only have 6 armies, you have to halt you conquest of Egypt to send back an army to defend Rome cuss we saw a single unit of oathsworn in Ireland or where ever and they scary!!!"
They cannot fix their AI, so they keep adding artificial none-sense to slow down the game, you have to stop beating the tar out of Egypt not due to Egypt, but due to "HELPZ THEY SCARY HELPZ OR REBELLIONZ!!!!!!"
You have to sign embarrassing peace deals with rival factions due to the fact that you now have to deal with civil wars that somehow divided your empire in half every single time every 30 turns or so, not due to the fact the rival empire is kicking your ass and you need to reacess your strategy.
